My main interests are in educational research:
1.Validity in measurement and practice including its natural extension (at least in my view), which is evidence-based practice.
2.The development of new institutions and new pedagogy in lifelong work-based learning. Grounded in social cultural theory, my thinking has grown to include agile (performance, learning, leadership, etc. . .) and organizational capabilities development.
3. Music, musical performance, musical education and also the importance of art and cultural life to economic development. Someday I will get a round-2-it and write a second blog to further explore this area in more detail.
